Yeah, suure looks like it!! Pirtle keeps posting about those late-80's Winchesters, it was only a matter of time till I got me one.

I've been trying to justify getting that schweet ebony swell-center over at VintageKnives.com, but this looks to be nearly the same pattern, only with nicely jigged bone. What's not to like?

Oh, the reason I asked about the springs is... I recently picked up a Queen City moose pattern, and was struck by how thin it was for a two-bladed knife with a beefy main blade; it has only one spring, but it cheats, since the secondary spey blade is a lot thinner than the main clip. So I was curious if this one was built like the VintageKnives one, or my Queen City.
