I really like this 3995 pattern, but check out the stag on this recent Ebay scored knife.
These Blue Grass Winchesters are some of the finest production slips around,IMO,and thanks Larry, for introducing them to me.

I guess this is amber dyed,I'm not sure, but the pinned shield is set real flush & smooth, they did a gorgeous job on this knife,It was a lucky find.
I pulled the trigger on another like the antique bone here, mint in box (?),on the "Buy it now" option.I'll see if that one measures up to the one here.

Good stuff Vince! That stag is really pretty. Are those recently made productions, or about what age are they?

I'm guessing they are about 3.5"? They sure look like they'd be easy in the pocket. :)

Thanks for showing them.

Ford,1991,and just a little over 4".
Very well made knives,I have not had too many others (production slips)that come close to these Winchesters,I don't know, maybe I'm missing something ?

Two real nice ones there . I love the black one, it's got real class!

I believe the dark colored bone on these,is antique bone from the Utica knife Co.

And Queen Cutlery makes them for Winchester and Blue Grass cutlery, who don't make knives. Mike

Queen makes better knives for other big names better than there own. They don't have any problem making Winchesters Cherry...

Those early ones from 89 to 95 or so are especially nice (and over looked by many.)

Whittler patterns always come out on top as some of my favorite knives. Those look like really nice knives. Thanks for posting them.

Thanks for all the great comments.
Here are some shots of a half whittler. This is the first Winchester I've had, with a good color variation on the older bone.Main spearpoint, single backspring, rounded bolsters make for thin & soft pocket carry. All in all, a real nice little pocket knife at 3-1/2" closed
