i just bought an ontario 22" heavy duty machete and a windmill shockpro lighter, and i have kind of mixed feelings on both. machete is a little to heavy, handle is a little to slick, and the shockpro... just doesnt quite feel like a lighter. more like a mini stove.
my main concern with it is that when trying to light things that arent in the up right position, i cant see where the flame is, or whats on actually cought on fire/how close it is to my hand. and i cant help but thing that having the circle of material around the flame porn would make it more difficult to get into tight spots.
i was originally drawn to the large resevior of 4.8 grams, but now that i have the lighter, im thinking that i may like the regular delta or polycarbonate lighters with the 1 gram resevoir more, due to their more classic lighter design...
any thoughts on the shockpro vs. the other windmill lighters? do i really need the 4.8 gram resevoir? if the 1 gram can give an hour and half burn time (3 second spurts) then im not sure if i want the extra burn time at a cost of user freindlyness....
