I bought a Windmill lighter a few months back and this thing has been a constant pain. I mean, it's great, when it works, but it suddenly stops working from time to time, always when I need it. The fuel stops flowing every once in a while, anyone have one of these or have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Purchase a permium fuel. Push in on the small rod in the filler hole and purge the old fuel. Fuels that are not listed as "Premuim" are not filtered as well and can cause problems with proper function of the lighter.

I got a couple of windmills a while back for real cheep (I wouldn't have got them other wise) I got a field lighter, delta and one that was like a Zippo with a screw cap on the bottom that I can't remember the name of.

The only one that lasted more than a couple of months was the delta. One of the problems that I had with the delta after a while was the lighter just not lighting untill I bent the wee pizzo electric "bit" back towards the valve. I don't know if it was moving or just corroding but that was the only problem with the delta. The other ones started falling to bits and just stopped working so they got launched.

They are really not worth the money they seem to sell for IMO and you can do way better for less, I would even take a £1 Clipper (had one for nearly 15 years and it still works:cool:) or a 50p Bic over a windmill.

Anyone know what their warranty is? I want to try to send it back but I can't even find any way to contact them on their website.
