I'm looking for window punches for my wife and I that can used to escape from a vehicle in the event of an accident.

They must be easy to use in an emergency and require MINIMAL hand/arm strength. Spring-loaded would be great. You don't have much room to swing your arm around in a car. I looking for candidates I can tape to the steering column as well as carry on my person, maybe on my keyring.

Your opinions, as well as rants or raves, are welcome.

What about the ASP Breakaway ?

It's main use is as a spring loaded window breaker which is on a keyring so it is always with you, no matter whose car you are in. But it also doubles, when in it's sheath, as a Kubotan for self defence.

Thanks for replying. The ASP Breakaway does look rather cool. And useful, too. I'll look into it.

The ASP is a nice package, but an eight dollar spring loaded center punch from your local hardware store will do the job just as well.
