Window tint brands, good and bad?

Yes, I saw the window tint percentage thread down below (started in 2008). ;)

I need to have my car tinted. In the past, I have always used 3M Crystalline PR40 (living in Arizona). Where I live now, 3M Crystalline is ~$200 more than other tints.

Among better tints, Ceramic preferred, what are the better or best brands for heat rejection primarily and clarity (i.e. non-limo effect and driving at night clear'ness). I'm not concerned with cosmetic effects as long as the look is reasonable and not 'mirrored' shiny. Obscuring stuff inside my car parked in a parking lot is a secondary concern along with being seen inside the car if I am pulled over by a cop. I'm thinking 50% or 70% on the windows, sunroof and, back windshield with Texas legal tint on the front windshield (~22% seems to be what most places use).

Any concerns with Texas legal tint and Texas plates in other states?

TIA,
Sid
