Hi Guys,
I have yet another issue with Windows 8. Often when browsing my files in the File Explorer, I try to delete and get an error message saying that I can't delete because the file is open in another application. This often happens when I have simply clicked the file icon to see the preview, and can see a large icon of the first page of the document in the bottom on the File Explorer window. I might hit the delete key, or right click and try to delete. However it can also happen when I have clicked on another file, and then right click the one I want to delete, and still can't delete it. I should add that I have checked that these files are NOT open anywhere. It i seems to be yet another screwup by Windows. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, does anyone have a fix? Because frankly, I am getting a little tired of dropping crappy files everywhere that I can't get rid of. I have even checked the task manager, to see if I can find a copy of the file somewhere in the memory, with no luck.
Cheers, numbersman.
