Windows media player skipping

Hey guys, my WMP skips on me from time to time, can't figure out why, but it's bugging the hell out of me.
 
More info is needed on what you're doing. Is it at the same place in the same media?

Most often it's because of some other program taking a sudden chunk of resources.

Might be an email download, spyware/antivirus doing something which sucks resources.

More RAM would probably help your situation.
