Winkler Hunters axe - thoughts or experiences?

In the market for a full tang hunters style axe, and really like the look of the Winkler was just wondering if anyone out there has some experience with theirs they could share about actually using it?
I have a few Winkler knives but never tried the axes yet (full size sayoc RND is still my grail). Torn between this one and the Wenger Blades Wiglaf. I have Beohawk from Wenger already as well so I know what the quality is there, just weighing my options. Not a small investment for a small hawk like that, but happy to spend the money as long as I know it'll perform and for something this small the biggest question is how does it cut and comfort.

Thanks in advance

I have one, it's awesome but maybe a bit small. The short handle makes it very easy to carry but may result in lacking the punch of a larger model.

They're all great but since they are so expensive I would say to focus on finding your top pick. If that's the Sayoc then don't take a detour.

Thanks brother. The role of something like the sayoc is currently covered at the moment. So in no rush there.
That Hunter is beautiful btw. Love the leather and tribal.
I just want a lighter weight tool that can handle some of the heavier lifting in terms of small chopping and splitting, dont expect it to split big logs or fell trees, and cutting mostly. Be nice to have something small to quarter game a bit more quickly too. As silly as it sounds its also easier to walk around with a small axe rather than a big knife in my area. And I'm in Canada so for the winter moths the inertia from an axe head helps.

How does the Hunter perform as a cutter and slicer? Does it do alright?

Well I don't slice much with it but it sure cuts well. I use it mostly for working on trails when I want to walk along and brush small limbs quickly.

It does a great job at that and the sheath works good for getting it in and out with one hand. The sheath is not has handy as a fallers axe holder but better for jumping in and out of the truck.
