Winkler Hunting vs Field Knife for general use

Looking at either the Winkler Hunting or Field knife.

For general use around the yard, camping, bushcraft etc...
No hunting, skinning or anything like that.

Which is better for the task?

The knives are almost identical man. One just has a little more blade length than the other.

Figure out what you'll be using it for and determine if you need the longer or the shorter blade.

I think if you were going to be batoning you might want the longer blade. Otherwise the hunter will be easier to carry.

Lefty gave good advice - the Hunter is basically a shorter Field Knife and should be the same steel and tang width made from 80crv2. Can't go wrong with any Winkler!
