While my wife was pregnant I was informed that I has supposed to buy her a gift as a celebration of our daughters future birth. Well she got a nice ruby necklace. I figured that if she was going to get something nice, I should get something too. I'm not a big wearer of ruby necklaces so I got a Winkler Stealth Axe with the front spike and custom engraving.

I contacted Daniel and we emailed back and forth several times about what I wanted. He was super helpful and the communication was very good. I plan on getting more stuff from him in the future. I was very happy with my buying experience overall. I plan on attaching the axe to my plate carrier that I keep in the back of my patrol vehicle. I wanted something to celebrate her birth but I also wanted it to be a functional item. It is definitely functional. This thing has to be held to be truly appreciated.

The axe is a standard stealth axe with the front spike. The axe is well made and the craftsmanship is amazing. This is only axe, machete, or knife that my wife has ever said "looks nice." "Looks nice" is a huge compliment coming from her about a tool. She doesn't mind me buying these kinds of things and supports me fully as long as I don't bore her with the details. ;) The custom engraving that Daniel did for me really sets the axe apart from others. You can see it below. If you isolate one vertical column you can see my daughter's stylized initials. Z K W I outlined a column in the pictures below so it is easier to pick out. He also engraved her birthday on the side of the head.

I could not be happier with this axe and Daniel's customer service. If you have the chance go buy something from Daniel, you won't regret it. Actually on second thought don't buy anything from him. It will only make my wait longer when I make my next order.

On the the pictures.

Thanks. It really is amazing. I haven't attached it to the plate carrier yet because I can't stop showing it off to people.

Congrats on the stealth axe and the daughter! (not necessarily in that order...)

Uhhh oh yeah. My daughter is pretty great too.... ;)

Seriously she is more amazing than anything I have ever experienced. We had been trying for years and finally had to go the IVF route. We are thinking of having two more. I'm thinking I will be making an order with Daniel for each of them.

Congrats.

I used to get at least one gun a year because my wife has her hair done. Seems like I have had a gun in 9 years now!

Congratulations! You really can't do much better than a Winkler. Love the embellishments on the haft too. Is that walnut?

Congrats on the new daughter........and on the .......... uhh.........oh yeah, stealth axe.

Years from now the axe will go in a closet and be forgotten. But the daughter will be in your thoughts from now until you lie on your death bed. You're a very lucky man. Now go give her a hug and a kiss for the Pegster!

Will do.

When she gets to her teens you can show the Stealth to prospective dates explaining the Sayoc design features !
