Hoping to find a winkler knives tactical cleaver to purchase as soon as possible! They were discontinued a couple years ago so it’s slow going sadly but while I search….

Who’s had one and what’s your opinions on it? How easy to hold? How heavy? How fun? Haha things like that! Give me your review so I can get excited about the one I eventually find!

I'd buy one, for no particularly good reason.

I am a huge winkler fan and have had and used dozens of winklers, one of the only fixed blade makers I'll buy anymore

So I'm not trying to be a jerk when i say the cleaver was amongst the worst wastes of money of anything I've purchased, ever... i sold it for well less than half what it cost me

Functionally it is absolutely useless, transmitted insane shock when chopping, which it was completely useless for, and obviously useless for anything else... it's a true boat anchor if a knife

Buy a combat axe
It's useful and available...

Yeah I figure it’s large and not a usual carry piece. I’ve got a ranger axe, dive knife, recon, belt knife, SAR, Air Force knife and Valkyrie axe and have owned a whole host of other models. At this point the cleaver is one of the few winklers I haven’t gotten to mess with and it’s kind of like a unicorn in my book.
