Winkler vs winkler II

Hello,

First post and I am New to blades. My question is what is the difference between the Winkler and Winkler II marked knives. If this is a topic has been discussed can I please have a link to it. Thank I’m advance.

The Winkler II are the mid tech production line and the Winkler are the custom hand made one offs is my understanding.

That is not to say the II is in anyway of lesser quality because they are imo the finest production fixed blades you can get.

None of the knives they make anymore are labeled “winkler II”, they’re all just “winkler knives” now.
