Wow wow wow . . .

One big and thick yet very lively in the hand.
It arrives with the shoulder belt, too.

Daniel was one of the forerunners in the design of competition cutters.
Congratulations on a very special piece.

Very cool piece - you are going to chop stuff with it, I hope. That knife is begging to be put to work.

Not sure which is bigger though - the knife or your watch. :p

Congrats on that rare find.

Roger

This is one of those pieces that you can just tell by site that's its one hell of a cutter.

I like how Dan has placed multiple lanyard holes.

That is a Beast!!

Rubber handle for a secure grip.
Great sheath/shoulder belt.
Thanks for posting it.Congrats,Santi.

THANKS FOR LOOKING. :D

I've just mouthed-off a lof of Filipino expletives! It's virtually a dead-ringer to the bolo-types we have here as well! Big but not "brawny" and balanced not to become "clumsy" in use! Pure sweetness! The sheath looks awesome too!

The Knife Santi posted was forged from either 1086v or 52-100, Probally 1086v. The tang is a modified full tapered designed to throw a little more weight forward to help with heavier cutting events. Below is a picture of a different knife that illustrates the tang design.

daniel....is the rubber material for the handle attached and sanded in the same way wood would be.....just curious ......interesting tang.....i'm sure it cuts like a champion....ryan

The Rubber is made from re-cycled tires for horse stall matts and works pretty much like wood.

Thanks for sharing the photo Daniel as it demonstrates the thought and engineering makers put into knives that's very often covered from view.

WOW- now THAT's what I'm talking about. Great knife- thanks for sharing!
