Okay, so I was going to do the "standard" one thousand post giveaway but since i'm droppoint1110, i'm going to do a 1,110 post giveaway...and I couldn't think of what to giveaway when I reached 1,000 posts:p. I honestly don't think I would know as much as I do about knives if I hadn't joined here. I look forward to being apart of this community for a long time to come but in the meantime, here's a little something to say thanks. I'll be giving away my Spyderco Jester/Photon combo. It looks brand new and has only been handled. To get in on this, the rules are pretty straight forward:
-You need to have been a member here for at least 3 months.
-You need to post what your favorite knife company was before joining, and your current favorite company.
-You must live in the Continental U.S. (international shipping is pricey/risky...sorry)
-One entry per member.
And that's it. I'll let this go for a week and use a random number generator to pick the winner. Your post number is your entry number.

In the past, my favorite was CRKT, now it is CRK. Funny how dropping a letter changes things.

Victorinox was really the only knife company I knew before I got the knife bug. I still love Vic, but Spyderco is probably my favorite now.

Thanks so much for the giveaway. Before finding Bladeforums I mainly used multi tools, my favorite was leatherman. I first discovered Bladeforums in an attempt to find the perfect EDC knife, I settled on the Benchmade Mini Grip, I still really like Leatherman, and I still like that Grip. But if you look at my Avatar, you will know my favorite brand is Chris Reeve.

My dad gave me my first spyderco and the latest knife I bought was the military.

I'm in. My favorite company before was Spyderco. I still love Spyderco but now my favorite is Kershaw.
They have been coming out with great folders like the 777. Blade show knife of the year.

As of right now i seem to have the most Kershaw.

Before joining Id have to say Schrade/Old Timer. since joining Id have to pick victorinox.

I think the only brand I really owned a knife from before joining this forum was Gerber... Oh how things have changed! Now my favorite brand of knives is kershaw.
