This is Round 3 of a creative GAW/Passaround/TravelingSwapMeet started by mrknife back in July. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...have-the-Conn!-(GAW-continues)?highlight=Conn
rye_a was the lucky winner of Round 1. He selected a Hen and Rooster coffin jack as his prize, replaced it with a Case Sodbuster Jr, and started Round 2 in August.
I was the lucky winner of Round 2 (even though I was unaware that I had entered
). That was over a month ago 
, but I'm finally starting Round 3 today! The eligibility and rules are basically what mrknife laid out in his original post, quoted (with some minor editing) below. The idea is pretty simple: if you win, you get the traveling box-o-knives, pick out any knives you'd like to keep and replace them with some of your knives, and "host" the next round with the modified knife set.
The knives I received from rye_a are pictured in his post quoted above. I decided to keep the sweet stainless amber jigged bone Sodbuster Jr, and replaced it with a Rough Rider stag canoe and a Vic Spartan with hardwood covers (so the 6 knives pictured here are up for grabs):
Anyone who entered Round 1 or Round 2 (and didn't win) is automatically entered in this round without having to re-post. They are listed below with their numbers for the random drawing. New entries will be assigned (their post number) + 17 as their numbers for the drawing; I'll try to find time to periodically update the current list of entrants.
If you want to speculate on which knives appeal to you and post photos of possible replacements, that would be fantastic (but not required).
I'll let this run for 2 weeks, until 6pm ET on October 23, so I can ship the knives to the winner by the end of the month. Happy Halloween!

Doing another GAW but this one is a little different. I'd sort of like this to be more of a pass around/pay it forward. Included are 5 knives in this give away

Im going to put all of these in a box and ship to one winner. They may not like all the knives in there or they may. If they do, the giveaway ends there I suppose. But if they don't, I hope they swap the knife they want for a knife or knives they have in their collection that they'd like to pass on to some one else who may find it more enjoyable via a similar giveaway. It'll be on an honor system and I have faith in all of you It's a variety pack of knives in different costs, so I'm sure everyone will get something they enjoy and want to give a new home.
In order to be considered, please fulfill any of these conditions:
1. be a known member of the Porch (at least a decent amount of meaningful contribution via content or conversation)
2. have donated to the St.Jude's Charities/or Bob(Bigbiscuit).

Well, the knives arrived today and they are fantastic! I have decided to keep the great looking Hen & Rooster Coffin Jack, and will be adding a Case Sodbuster that I won in another GAW.
I'm starting the GAW/Pay it Forward again... The original rules apply, and I will include prior entries in the drawing (so no need to re-post):
1. Case Sodbuster (GT adds: I removed the pic of this one, 'cause I'm keeping it!)
2. Rough Rider Coke bottle(new)
3. Falcon lockback (new)
4. Schatt and morgan EDC barlow (gently modified)
5. Modified Bear MGC
