Hi folks, well in keeping with my reduction of my collection, I just got in a Rough Rider sowbelly that displaced my Rough Rider whittler, so I will hold a small give away for this Rough Rider whittler.

It's a great neat little folder, it measures about 3" closed and uses a split spring on the back, one for each small blade and the two springs come together to act as a larger spring for the main blade.

Main blade is a spearpoint blade, and the two smaller blades are a coping blade and a pen blade. Nice action on all three blades.

Jigged bone inlays were done nicely too.

The rules...always rules eh? ;) well these are simple, have at least 50 posts in the Traditional forums and that's about it, pretty sweet and simple, like me :)

I'll end this on Thursday night and call the winner via the now infamous random number generator and get the knife mailed out come Friday.

Thanks folks,
G2

AND the winner is post #14

That's a nice knife Gary, and a cool pic of it. Not an entry please, but just wanted to wish everyone good luck, and to say thanks

Thank you, Gary, for your generosity in offering this GAW. It looks like a fun little knife! I'm sure the recipient will be pleased and hopefully he or she will use it to produce more wood shavings like those pictured with it. :)

Not an entry for me, please, as I've already been the fortunate recipient of a whittling knife in a recent GAW. Good luck porchmates!

My nephew/God Son recently received that January, 1946 issue of Popular Mechanics, with the article 'FUN WITH A JACKNIFE'.
He is looking forward to starting one of those projects.
I'll say "I'm In". If I win, the knife will go to him. :)

Thank you, for the chance, Gary.

How resist to such a nice knife (red bone, yummi)? Count me in and thank you for the fun.

Cheers Gary-looks like RR pressed the right buttons with that one-
I'm in -postage costs on me when I win:D

I always love your pictures Gary. Very well composed. Count me in please.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Not an entry, since I already have a nice RR whittler (and half-whittler :p), but thanks for the generous GAW, Gary!:thumbup:
Best of luck to all the entrants!

very cool! not an entry, thanks for the chance tho! good luck to those who are in!

In please Gary. I'm a sucker for an illusive R.R., and I'm pretty sure this one's unavailable in Blighty. I'm assuming your GAW extends across the pond, if not good luck y'all. Many thanks.

Thanks folks and yes it's open to all that have at least 50 posts in the Traditional forums. It's a nice small sized folder, great watch pocket size and yep, she be sharp ;)
