Hi guys and gals !!!

Well my good friend Ken from Australia aka harronek had gifted me this friction folder a while back, pretty sweet gesture on his part, nice knife as well ! But after having it a while I just find that I still love blades with a lower tip, more a wharncliff kinda guy so I PM'd Ken to let him know I was going to do this GAW and also give him credit for it as well, since the knife came from there to here and now...to one of you folks!

And since this is a Friction folder I think it's safe to say it could travel to most any country without fear of customs seizeing it for any strange reason, so, this will be open to the World at large to be involved in.

There are a FEW rules on this one though, take heed and follow them in order to be included in the GAW;

1. You need to be at least 18 years of age

2. removed requirement ...

3. removed requirement...

4. You need to have a sense of humour, well, at least a passing sense of one will do :)

5. and lastly, need to post in that you are IN and that about wraps that up!

Time line, I will pull the plug on this by week end, so come this Friday night, it might be late as I am taking my younger brother to see the latest Mission Impossible movie! So stay tuned much later that nite.

And depending on when I hear back from the selected winner, by means of a Random number generator on line, I can get this mailed out on Saturday for you !

Here are a couple images of the knife;

I've added a lanyard on this knife, the friction portion keeps her in pretty good, but I made the first diamond knot so you have to force the loop around the end and onto the spine of the blade, this helps to keep it together.

and of course, she is quite sharp, so who ever wins, needs to be careful !

Thanks again Ken and BEST of luck to all who enter!

edited to add: WHERE are my manners! some specs for the knife, made by knife maker named K'roo who lives in South Africa

Blade steel is N690co steel I believe and about 3mm thick

blade length is approx. 2 1/2" long or a hair longer

handle is G10 and about 3 3/4" long

The rules were a bit confining...so I wrote them off lol so it's basically OPENED up to all with the two requirements in the first post...

I'm in

Your pics have brought back memories ,I used to have one just like that ........ Hey , wait a minute :)
I think this is a great idea Gary , and I'm happy to see you passing it on to a new home if your not using it .
As you know I really dislike seeing good knives sitting unused , and this is a good knife made from good materials .
Good luck to all respondents , I now officially withdraw my entry :)

Ken

Wow that's an awesome knife. Right on the edge of traditional and modern.

I'm in.

Thanks for the chance.

Not an entry. But very cool GAW, Gary (and Ken - this is the second "passalong GAW" today, along with KBA's). :thumbup::thumbup:
Best of luck to the entrants! ;)
