Thanks again to @Ed T as he sent this one along with that Cub Scout one for me to have a looksee and clean up with as well, the Cub Scout has been gifted away in a recent GAW so time now for this larger folder to go to a new home also.

While like the other one, I did a little clean up and on this one sharpened the main blade which really took a crazy sharp edge, who ever ends up with this...you have been warned ! :)

Rules of the Give Away, need to have at least 10 posts in the Traditional forum and be in the USA. IF you have already won a Give Away I would ask that you let someone else have a chance at this.

I will let this go until Friday night around 7pm EST and will run the random number generator to pick a winner and then I can mail it out that Saturday.

Along with some work on the bolsters and tightening up the pivot areas, sharpening the main blade and the smaller can opener, I also hammered out a copper bail, can't promise it will last on there but for now it seems to keep in place, also braided some soft elk skin leather for the fob.

Thank you for the opportunity, I am a fan of those fobs you make. I really enjoyed the use of a cork in one you had for sale with another knife.

Thanks guys and if the winner would like a bead added to this I can put one on there as well, using that rubberized cork as a wedge to keep it in place.

I wasn't going to, honest. However, how can I walk away from the chance to have a real, genuine Utica scout knife, complete with a genuine elk hide fob?!?

I'm in, if you don't mind.

Thank you for the chance. :)

I have won my fair share of GAWs over the years, so I guess I will sit this one out. But that is a fine looking scout knife Gary :)

Thanks guys, it really is pretty nice, as you can tell, I don't make 'bails' so that one I just thought would be something for me to try hammering out, it's from heavy 10 ga copper wire even so it's fairly rigid.

That is a lovely scout pattern. Nice to see a solid bolster version.

Winner will be tickled.

Not an entry, but thanks for keeping the place lively Gary!

Very generous GAW! Please count me in.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nice GA, Gary!! Please enter my post in this one, and if won, send it to cigarrodog cigarrodog (Harvey) so he hopefully will post some great artistic pictures:cool: of it, as well as use it in good health!!:D
