Schrade 887UH came into my possession last weekend. Free to good home. Just be a Traditionals Forum participant.

I'll mail it in the condition I received it. It's a solid knife.

I just ask you not sell it or trade it, that if you later decide you don't want it, you just give it away since that's the way you received it.

I am new to the uncle world my nephew is 2 and my neice is 7months i would love to pass that stockman on to my nephew noah when he is a bit older or maybe my neice eloise if she shows interest
 
NOT an entry, but while i have no children, i have a buncha nephews. 6 nephews and 1 niece so i can appreciate this post. One of my nephews is all into the hunting/camping/pocket knives thing and tahts what we have done ...well until my brother in law told my wife to stop buying him knives *shrugs* I dunno,

if i can ever work out some time off or even a good weekend off, i'll take him camping :p
but great giveaway and hopefully it can bring about another of the younger generation to traditional things

I have a nephew in need of a knife but I am not sure he deserves such a nice one. I would be tempted to keep that for myself.
 
Nice knife your GAWing there leghog. Not an entry just saying very generous of you and good luck to participants. Liking my Kabar 1152 to much to give this one the pocket time it deserves. Would like to try a Schrade in the future though.
 
I'm in. If I win I may find a way to change it's name to an "Uncle Bernie" and then give it to him!(my uncle, that is ).
 
I'm in. I've a feeling that that'll be the knife I take with me to visit my troublemaker nephew. He's 1.5 years now.
 
I'll try for this, though if I gave it away it would go to my brother away in Air Force training.
 
Great knife. I'd put it to good use for sure, I don't have anything like that and have been looking for a natural handle stockman for a while now. I love how long the Sheepsfoot is!
 
Fantastic gesture.

I just gave away my case medium stockman. I have lost my pitted old Ranger stockman. Have looked absolutely everywhere for it. It was a laser slicer.

I would be happy to own that beauty. Count me in.
 
I would like to get this knife!~

I have been looking on ebay for a shrade USA made knife .. which this one seems to be because it has the USA stamp whereas the Chinese made ones don't.
