Clicked on a thread and heard you are a winner. On the right hand side it said no joke, you are the 100,000 visitor and you have won something. I clicked on it and nothing. What's up with this.

Not sure if this is sarcasm. Just in case ...

That was a banner ad from an advertiser. You didn't actually win anything. Everyone who sees it is the "100,000th visitor" or whatever. Yes it's annoying, but those type of deceptive ads are bound to pop up in the rotation.

No sarcasm. It did say I had won something. I guess this makes me more of a wiener than a winner!

Yeah, I would expect the 100,000th visitor on this site happened probably back in 2001.
