Okay... No real reason, other than it's been a while since the last one. I don't want to be too restrictive for who can win, but I do want this to go to a porch member, new or old. Let's say 10 posts in the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades section, and you're qualified.

In ConBon's challenge thread, I've committed to carrying and using this knife until Sunday June 19th. The knife is semi-new now, but won't be when I end the GAW and draw a winner. I'm not planning on abusing it by any means, and it will still be pretty and in good working order at the end of the challenge. Just wanted to give full disclosure that it's going to be a used knife.

So post below that you're in, and you're in! Oh... And your entry should have a picture, as we all love looking at each others' pictures. Preferably Traditional Knife Related!

Winners announced in post #47 - Congrats Corwyn_bv!!

Bonus draw winner - Wurrwulf

Thanks

And to answer my question in the title, there are more Case knives in my collection than any other brand, so they make great candidates for GAWs

Great GAW! I would like to be in for that beautiful knife! I have more Case than any others also. Here's one of my favorites. Thanks again

Thanks for the opportunity. Please count me in. It's a great looking knife. This is still the only real traditional I have, but have been too scared to use it. I love to admire it though. That case would be a perfect way for me to have a traditional "user" . Thanks again

In for the win...er, at least a chance at a win. Thanks for your generous giveaway.

Here's one of mine, one which thankfully is much older than I am (though I am no spring chicken):

Beautiful Saddlehorn and a generous GAW. I've been eyeing that Crimson bone for a couple months but haven't brought myself to pull the trigger. Thank you for the opportunity; I'm in.

I own 8 Case knives with 2 of them being 2 of my most prized knives. The Toothpick was purchased on our Honeymoon just over a year ago in Tennessee and the Peanut was purchased last Saturday about 12 hours before our first child was born.

Good luck to all entrants, and thanks again for the chance to win!

Here's one I took yesterday of my new LBL Horsemans knife alongside a similar BF Mosley & Co

Thanks for the chance, especially for a knife used by the member. It's got an interesting selection of blades! Edited to add, I'm in!!

Here's a lousy cell phone photo of the oldest knife on my shelf, a Loewen Hippekniep that I bought in Amsterdam in 1970. At the time, I had never heard of a sodbuster. Indeed, I never heard of one before I joined this forum. Now I have two more, both Case.

Please count me in.

Here's my Puukko, made from a Lauri blank, great fixed blade that's fairly traditional. In this picture it's compare to a massive piece of oak that I cut with a hand saw. Lot of work bucking this whole tree up into movable lengths with nothing but a Corona saw. I later used the knife to carve a set of oak cooking tools (two spoons, two spatulas, one wide and one narrow of each one).

Count me in!

Very cool if you. I don't even have a single Case. And I have no excuses. I should be flogged. [emoji51]. But here is a Colt (Rough Rider) Peanut that made it's way into my pocket today.

Gorgeous Case Saddlehorn.
I'm definitely in. Thank you for the chance.
Here's my Trapper slicing a Nectarine.

I'm in! Thanks for the GAW Mike this place is simply amazing. This is one of my newest purchases it's a 2003 NOS. I never had a Seahorse Whittler before and thought it about time. :D

This is great! I'd post a picture, but truth be told, I don't have a traditional knife that I can think of. Very curious to get into this.

Thanks for doing this Give-Away. I don't normally enter these things, but since the saddlehorn patterns have never caught my interest from afar, perhaps getting one in hand would change (or confirm) my presumption.

Another Case for your viewing pleasure.

Very generous Mike! And congrats on 600. I am in, I have never owned a saddlehorn. My pic is one I own but have never handled :), a custom that is inbound from forum knife maker Shaerk.

Another awesome GAW! Thank you for your generosity, Mike. From the other thread I got the impression you weren't a fan of the saddlehorn or the crimson bone pants it's wearing, but I think that it's a pretty stylish knife. Since I'm often extolling the virtues of a Case knife, I'd be remiss if I didn't jump on this one. So, I'm in!

The Bose designs Case is producing appear to be a cut above the rest, including this pattern. Here's another one of my favorite Bose-designed Cases:

on_the_edge, that Case Barlow is fantastic!
