WINNERS!! These are both going overseas...

Galeocerdoshark takes the 302!

Humppa gets the Kershaw!

PMs/e-mails inbound for shipping info.

Thanks much all, it's been fun as usual. Take care~

Jon

Been splashing around in the river all day, feeling good, feeling like giving away some knives for no particular reason~
These two could use a good home.

Knife A: Buck 302 Solitaire
Blade: 2 7/8" (7.3 cm) clip, 420HC steel
Length: 3 7/8" (9.8 cm) closed
Weight: 1.9 oz. (53.9 g)
Handle: Valox with nickel silver bolsters
Made in USA

Rarely carried, hasn't seen much use. Perfect 5 on the pull, good snap and zero play. Near centered blade in the closed. Factory edge has been lightly touched up and is plenty sharp. A solid slippie that I've really enjoyed owning.

Knife B: Kershaw D.W.O.
Steel: AUS-6A
Handle: Co-polymer
Blade length:2 3/8 in. (6.1 cm)
Closed length: 3 1/4 in. (8.4 cm)
Overall Length: 6 in. (15.2 cm)
Weight: 1.6 oz.
Made in Japan

This is one of the older models as I believe they're made in China now. I've probably only ever opened a couple packages with this one. Flawless F&F, rock solid lock-up, and a hair poppin' factory edge. Certainly you need a pink knife in your line-up? :D

Rules:

Anyone is free to enter and international is no problem, I'll ship wherever. Just specify which knife you'd like a chance at (methinks one might be more sought after than the other ). Only condition is you post a picture of some place where you live that means something to you. I figured that would make as good a give-away criteria as any while snapping a few shots at the river today~

I'll let this run til Sunday and choose the winners via random number generator.

Take care~

Jon

To kick it off, here's my favorite swimming hole here on the James River in Richmond~

Local state lake...not fishing this year but my dogs love to go out there and its a fun relaxation spot to go.

Thanks for the chance (the buck of course :D).

I'd like a shot at that Buck!

Saunders Preserve in PA.
Went mushroom hunting here once with my son. Came up empty but it didn't matter.

Triagh Mhor, Isle of Lewis. This is two miles of pure white sand. There is never anyone there except us. It's where I normally walk the dogs in the mornings. It is also where I proposed to my beloved.

I think the solitaire would look great cutting an apple on this beach.

Good luck all,
Paul

Not an entry as I have both those knives already, 'cept in different scales, just wanted to say thanks for the generous giveaway and for supporting BFC, oh and good luck to everyone else.

I've had a 302 on my "to buy" list for a long while.

Here's the view from the dock at my hunting cabin. We catch a lot of bass here.

That Buck 302 is really sweet, here's a pic of my garden where I spend most of my free time!

Don't have a picture of my Lazy Boy, which is my favorite spot to sit and whittle and zzzz! Put me in for the Kershaw, as I don't have a pink knife in my stable. (actually my wife likes knives too.)

Blessings,

Omar

The camera's messing up, so here's Google's attempt at documenting the massive maze of trails in one of my favorite parks to run in.

Could I be put in for the Buck? Thanks for the opportunity!

Woa, those look fun! Nearest running trail here is just a mile loop track with a couple hills. Good for keeping track of your mileage, but can get a bit repetitive. I get out on the river trails every now and then when I'm feeling up to narrowly avoiding dislodged ankles, collisions with cyclists, and falling off cliffs :)

Thanks much for the interest in my tiny give-away everyone. Last 24 hours to get in!

Thanks for the chance :)

I´m in for the Kershaw...

Here´s a pic I´ve made some days weeks ago

I'm in for a chance on the 302! Thanks for the chance man.
Here's a pic of a nearby river where I've made more than a few memories :)
