Quiet for the Opinel and Blades and Bullet for your choice of the Spyderco.
I wet sanded the blades, sharpened them the Sharpmaker and stropped on leather, so they are good to go. Happy New Year Everyone!

Just want to give some love back to the coolest forum on the planet with some of the kookiest guys and gals who share this knife obsession. You folks gotta admit getting amped over handle materials and debating over blade materials and lock mechanism is geeky as heck. But in any case thanks for understanding.
This giveaway is wide open only rule is you must have at least 200 posts as of this thread. Open to anyone, anywhere. Will try to close this one up around New Year's eve or so. Shipping for after the holidays. Winner will be 100% random and will go to whatever post the random number generator chooses on the 3rd turn!
These are some of my regular daily users. And I get in the bad habit sometimes of picking up more knives that I can use. So the winner gets to choose their own adventure and pick one of these three as their prize.
Knife #1 The Delica had its tip broken and I reprofiled it. Has seen the most use and has a bit of up and down play, I use it all the time and carry it all the time despite its mechanical faults.
Knife #2 The Byrd Cara Cara 2 is solid. It's blade is 8cr13mov. Outside of the edge retention being so so, it literally outcuts (I kid you not) knives that cost 10 times more than this one. It was my garden knife for one season and it bested the Spyderco Domino in cutting performance of yard matter. It's a beast of a knife and very capable.
Last is the Opinel slim no. 8 it has a super thin blade which is very different from the Opinel 9 which a forum member Lou Lasher gifted to me, which was then regifted to another forum member out in Colorado. It's super sharp but isn't hard use like the 9. It makes for a great around the house knife.
Before I ship I will polish up the blades and have them hair shaving sharp. GLTA! Happy holidays and I hope that everyone will be able to spend some time with friends, family and their loved ones!
