David, I think you have outdone yourself with this one!:) That is just fantastic! I'd venture to say ...a work of art! Congratulations to you and the new owner.:D

 OOOOOOOOOOH! AAAAAAAAAAH!

That is awesome! This one is definitely going into my knife pictures folder :D

Wow, I also agree that that is the best knife I've seen of yours yet. Great job! Whoever the new owner of that one is, he/she is a lucky person.

And now, for a little constructive criticism. :)

I love everything about this knife, except for the length of the handle. It just seems to me that it needs more handle.

I appreciate all the great comments. Now that I no longer have a job to go to every morning I hope to be able to devote more time to making this sort of thing. This can be disassembled to maintain the damascus underneath the bolsters and handle scales. Lanyard hole liner is two piece.

Danbo, the handle measures 4 5/16" from front of bolsters to end of handle. I am in total agreement with your comment. I think just 1/4" more would do wonders for the overall look and feel of this knife.

And, given the handle length is 4 and 5/16ths, I'm sure it feels good. I just think the handle should always be longer than the blade.
