Winter Kith’s?

I was just curious if there’s been any talk of a winter kith this year that I may have missed. I always lol forward to seeing those, and was contemplating if I’d be at the level to participate this year.

I was just thinking about this the other day, since I missed the summer kitchen knife kith. Maybe someone from the more experienced forum members steps forward?

I’d participate in a winter kith if someone is willing to host one.
 
We would be open to offering a choice of designs like we did for the kitchen knife kith.
 
I would be interested in a kith. I missed out on the kitchen knife kith.
 
I'd be up for it this year. I had to bail last year do to the boarder closer and not being able to pick up my steel. I finally got tired of waiting and bought more steel.
 
I’d also be up for it. Any opinions on kitchen knife vs sub 4”(blade) knife? Might be more approachable to more people to do small knives which could be a parer if you only do kitchen knives.
 
I participated in the kitchen knife kith. I would like to do something like a chopper/mini chopper or hunting knife kith.

I'd love to see what come's out of a folder KITH. I wouldn't be able to participate as I don't do folders (really want to though) but I don't want that to influence the decision.

A bit off topic, has anyone had any issue with shipping to or from Canada? I just got nailed $70 brokerage at the boarder yesterday on a $160 order from the states by UPS. I have no idea what brokerage would be on a "Gift" item.
 
Maybe you all could do folders and fixed? Folder makers would get a folder, etc. There would need to be an understanding that the odd numbered person would have to accept whatever?

I remember a KITH from a few years ago, Mr. Buzek put in one of the prettiest damn pocket knives I’d ever seen.

I have found UPS always have brokerage fees. USPS never. Supposed to have “Free Trade Deal”
 
HMMMM...........folder kith
Or just an open kith so all can make what they want.
