We went out for two days and one night on a hike up the montain. The hike in was about 1.5 km with some deep snow. Temperatures were about -7 to -10 degrees. We set up some lean-to shelters with the US army pup tents and made a long fire between. We were super warm and had a good time. Hope you like the video

Great vid. Was very instructional. Looks like tough going in the snow, but you managed to make it pretty comfortable!

Every time I see food cooked on a campfire in conditions like that it makes me hungry. :)

Good stuff !

So many questions, first though, how did you film that? Did you build the snow up under your beds to get a sitting position or was that just from digging the fire pit down?. Did you guys flip to see who filmed and who did the work? And that is a wicked saw you guys have.

Yea I filmed some with my phone and my friend filmed other times with his camera.
We did not raise the beds with snow but just dug a trench.
Yup those silky saws work great
