Winter survival challenge with 3 items 👍

I went out with my sons for a winter survival challenge. We had to build a shelter and a fire using only 3 items:
- Knife: Worktuff gear Kodiak
- Saw: Corona folding saw
- Firesteel: Light my fire Army

We had a great time and learned alot from this experience

Holly crap! That is not survival... that is straight glamping! Nicest survival shelter I have seen in a while... and the fire making was spotless.

Thanks for sharing; you have a new subscriber. Solid shelter and fire setup. Good for the boys to get that kind of experience. We had some cold snowy nights setting up camps like that and sleeping overnights in the mountains of Oklahoma and Arkansas when I was a kid. Our scoutmaster required using flint and steel to start every fire until we could do it flawlessly. After that we were allowed to build "one-match" fires, that had to start and get going with only one match. If you couldn't do it, we had to revert to flint and steel.
