Nice! Thanks for posting pics I did a couple mile hike today as well. Snow covered and relaxing. Had a fire some coffee/trail mix and hung in the hammock.

Southeastern Michigan, one of the few tracts of woods left from the outward expansion of Detroit years ago.

I thought about following suit and taking a walk in the woods to get some pics.......

Then I remember the only thing I dislike more than snow is 5 feet of blowing drifting snow. So I poured a drink and stayed inside.

I'm not a big fan of snow either, but I forced myself to get in the woods up here on Sunday during the great blizzard of 15' ……

Making a fire out of deadfall in those conditions is not for the faint of heart, the trusty old ASHBM and I had a blast though…..

I wanted to snap more pics, but I was afraid my camera might be damaged by the snow flurries….
