Winter Walk!!!!

I've been going on hikes 3 times a week, the last two times I forgot my sd card for my camera so so pics.......the temperature was 14 degree's but it felt pretty good to be out in it....

Very cool! Those images look like they could have been taken around here (very similar terrain, vegetation, topography, etc.) but we have not gotten that much snow yet.

I bet is was quiet out there! I love the lack of sound in freshly snowed woods (particularly when you have it all to yourself)

found some tracks, to small to be a dog, size was about the size of a quarter, I've seen fox in this area, so I assume that's what they are....

Looks about like the fox tracks we get around here.

I dunno what it is about foxes...they are one of my favorite animals to see out in the woods, but you have to be amazingly quiet and still...they are sly....like a fox

It is like the best attributes of a cat and a dog put together...

found a scrape where a deer was looking for some grub.....

it was a great walk, covered 3 miles....it was nice to stop and hear absolutely nothing but nature, the silence was great...

I think that Ontario 7 is a really neat design. I regretted not getting mine in D2 after watching it compared to the one my my had. Love snow. I'll be deep in people complaining about it before Monday and that'll make it even better.

Amen. The wife was talking about just doing an overnighter in the Cranberry Back Country in the next couple months, weather permitting.

There's shelters so we could just bring a big tarp to cover the front rather than tents.:thumbup:
