I just noticed in my clothes closet I have 6 vests that I wear, one at a time of course, from fall through early spring. These are the lightweight fleece type vest that I wear over a t-shirt or over a dress shirt. I am hot natured and usually wear a short sleeve shirt in the winter with this type of vest over it instead of a jacket and do just fine with it. The thing is I have started to carry a folder, usually a big one, in the right hand pocket of these vests, and a Surefire E2e in the left hand side. With the way the pockets are made both items go unnoticed by anyone. Lately I have been carrying a Cuda MAXX partially serrated folder in this right hand side. I have found that it is easier to access the larger folder in my vest pocket than the other folder in my pants pocket. I have found myself putting my hands in the pockets of the vest while walking across parking lots at night or when going in to a quick stop type of store. With the cooler winter weather it looks very natural to have my hands in the pockets. I was wondering how many others carry this way, and just what do you carry?

The closest I come to that would be the Spydie Massad Ayoob in my lower right field jacket pocket, but I generally only carry it at night.

Generally have a small Sebenza or DDR EDC in my right front pants pocket, or if the small knife is in a shirt pocket, a large Sebenza or DDR Apogee in the pants pocket instead.

Either way, a 3.5 to 4" blade on my right at night.

Well, this is what winter looks like here :D ...so my winter attire is pretty much the same as my other seasonal attire (i.e. shorts and a t-shirt). Although, I must say that when I do end up wearing a jacket--either when the air gets cooler or it's raining--I do tend to carry a couple more items in my jacket pockets and when I wear a jacket I also tend to keep my hands in the pockets.

I usually wear an anorak, which has a large kangaroo pouch and a large handwarmer pocket underneath. Since the stuff in my pants pockets is not very accessible under the coat, some things move to the coat. The knives that I carry don't change much, but I usually move a folder to the outside, sometimes in the pouch or sometimes clipped to the pocket. I am also able to carry a larger flashlight more comfortably, and it is easily accessible in the handwarmer pocket.
