Hey guys,
I recently forgot my faithful winter work gloves at a mall food court. They were a pair of Duluth Trading Winterproof Gloves. Fantastic gloves. My only complaint was that i felt that my fingertips got colder quicker than other gloves i have owned. What do you guys recommend for a warm, waterproof, stylin' pair of gloves for some cold-weather asskicking (punching)?

well, you ruined my first suggestion, so my #2 choice would be my ironclad winter work gloves.

$5 leather gloves lined with a $1 pair of cotton or wool gloves. Check your local closeout store or thrift shop.

I have worked outside for more winters than I would like to remember and cold hands were always an issue untill I found neoprene fishing gloves (~$9). I have always bought mine at Sports Author. but if you do an internet search you will see that you can order them from several places. They allow enough dexterity to handle and assemble as small as 3/8" hardware and my hands are never cold.

+1 on neoprene gloves, and if it get really cold some thin fleece or wool gloves underneath will take care of that.

This thread makes me want to look for my old kayaking gloves to test them out...

Usually I wear the leather/canvas work gloves with another underneath, but this line of thinking have completely changed my mind. Now to try it out.

I had some serius neoprene gloves that I loved and always kept my hands warm. They wouldn't last long as work gloves though.

I would just use them and throw some leather work gloves on top. Good luck.

Carhartt makes some GREAT winterproof, waterproof work gloves! You can go to their web site and they should be on there. If not call and request a catalog and they are in there. Here's all the info and the price:

Insulated Leather/Nylon Waterproof Breathable Glove
Grain Cowhide
-100% nylon shell, full grain cowhide palm/fingers, thinsulate insulation
-Style#A228 $40.00

If bulk is not to much concern try looking into the Ice Armor line, they are waterproof and winterproof. they are alittle bulky but i can fish with them on.

I slip on a pair of UnderArmor glove liners, and then an old pair of neoprene duck hunting gloves that I bought from Gander Mountain.

Bullet proof.

I got a pair of those at Walmart this winter and have been really pleased. I paid about 9 bucks too and found them in the fishing section. Given how unusally cold this winter has been for us I am glad I got them.
