WIP: Entrek Merc beadblast to satin

I'm pretty new at the modding game. Anyhow, after finding rust spots on the handle of my Entrek Merc and looking at the scratches and wear on the blade, I decided that the beadblast had to go.

Now there's problems showing up. After going over it with 100/220 grit, I started uncovering grind marks and a couple pits that the beadblast masked. Those are proving very difficult to remove for now. In addition, the laser cutting marks along the spine are also taking quite a while to get down. If anything though, the curves along the guard and ricasso are annoying to sand.

I don't think you should be discouraged at all. You've done a fine job so far. Anyone that would pull out a loop and comment on those tiny imperfections, well.....

Yes, I do understand the desire for perfection. I suffer from it too, from time to time.
