This is one of my LBK (Little Big Knife) varants. I generally do my nice thin steel for these, this one is a combat mod, full. .020 through the tang with a distal taper from the hilt forward. Full convex grind.

5160, 4.5 inch edge, 4.5 inch blade 9.5 inches overall.

WIP photos, obviously- got a lot of hand work to do tomorrow when I get bored in the kitchen :D

And here she is:

LBK (Little Big Knife)- combat model.

5160 steel, full quench and variable temper. 4.5 inch edge, 4.5 inch blade length, 9.5 inches overall.

Grind is a full convex with distal taper from the hilt forward. Convex microbevel edge. Tang thickness is .20 inches. .160 about 2/3 of the way forward.

Handle is black linen micarta with blue spacers, stainless tubing pins flared at the ends.

Sheath by Koyote Girl. It's the expedition style sheath with a tight fitting retaining strap. the rear belt hange is removable for horizontal carry. I fitted it to a regular heavy 1.5 inch leather belt- it's tight but will break in. (The belt hanger is secured with chicago screws and highly adjustable.)

Christof, that's a really nice design and very well done on both the knife and the sheath:thumbup:
