This is an idea I had last night, working on it today. It still has a ways to go but I'm taking a break from the heat, where I live is feeling like 40'C with the humidity.
Thought I'd see what you guys think
I decided to drill the holes and then harden the blade, without removing any material. It's taking a little longer to grind but it's kind of nice to know that it's already hardened.
The concept is that it is a "hunter's companion"....a small blade but 1/4 thick at spine so it will be a capable chopper that can double as a slicer / meat processor / small game chopper.
This is at 120 grit on the 2x72
