David was in Pa for a visit were we spent some time and had some laughs

While he was here a Developer client/friend placed a 3 piece order

He had came to my home to look through my collection to see what he liked for a commission of a pair of knives for his two sons

Of all my pieces and there are many he was drawn to one of my AIKUCHI Bowies from David

He not only ordered the two for his sons he added one for himself to make 3

Steven I believe has the first and I have one also

The three that David is working on will be in Paul Long leather vs the hard Saya (sheath) similar to this earlier variant that belongs to me but the will have the fully wrapped handles of the above piece

So here we go

More to come

Yes, I have the first one. It's laminate, stainless skin.

Those look great!!

Best Regards,

Wonderful!!!!

I, too, consider myself fortunate to have a laminated stainless piece with hard saya...extraordinary knives.

I guess I will be receiving a package from Alaska. It will take a hammer and a couple of screw drivers and maybe a saw to get
it opened up.
I choked on this..... LOL! Few folks get to see the 'packaging' which David secures his work when he ships. He's an aficionado of PVC pipe, screws, wooden caps, Gorilla Glue, and a ton of tape.

Those are always a treat, and when I've shown them on my Instagram, it explodes in 'likes'. He's doing it right.

Jim the sad part is no one repacks them that way but you

Paul throws them in a Priority mail box and so do I :)

I have saved all of my Schedule 80 PVC pipe shipping containers....never know when I'll need one. ;)

Oh man those are such a delight to see!

I really love Mr Mirabiles work, it's East meets West with whole damn lot more in between. Character and class what more can you say.
