Hey everyone,

So after 9 weeks of riding the gun show circuit we finally have a couple of weeks to rest up and get caught up for the next round, starting next weekend in Le Mars, IA. In between shows I did have some time to forge and finish, as well as record and post some videos on YouTube.

I find the gun and outdoors shows and events are not only great sales opportunities, but also great for immediate feedback (and they give it!) as it relates to design, fit, form and function, by both users and collectors. Overall and all things considered, it’s been pretty good so far. Here in NE there is a relatively large population of ranchers, hunters and trappers who are hard on tools. No better way to do market research in real time IMHO.

Anyone else doing the smaller or mixed shows? What have your experiences been? Might be fun to swap stories.

Also, back in January I mentioned that I would post another destructive test video, so here it is. I’m posting the short as the full video is 37 + mins (fair warning in case one might find it less than interesting). And this weeks WIP.
