Well, after the Blade show in June, I was more excited than ever to get into the shop and get busy, but it seemed this summer that work, family obligations, and side projects were all conspiring against me in the completion of my most recent batch of blades. Finally, it seems I've gotten all of my bevels, swedges, jimping, and what not done and ready for heat treat! I'll get these out to Peters either tomorrow morning or Monday and those who have been waiting on orders will be in the home stretch:thumbup: Kids go back to school on Tuesday, and even though I enjoyed the last couple months with my girls I'm ready for a little more dedicated shop time again.

Also, I'm trying to get an Evenheat very soon, so this could be the last batch I send out to PA. Not sure, we'll see......

Thanks for taking a look!

Nice jonny! I really like the design for blade #1

Can't wait to see your folder finished too!

Man I really need to get back into the shop... hopefully this weekend!

That is a nice looking batch of knives! What happened to #3 & #4? I like them all but #1 and #10 appeal to me the most. I know what you mean about kids going back to school. I love my little girl, but with her back in school I can get more consistent shop time that I need. She and I were out there this evening while I was working on a sheath for a friends knife I made.

Thanks guys!
Melsdad, I do like my dedicated shop time when the kids are in school and I'm off of work, but like you I also like to have them out there with me. The girls are 10 and 6 and they each have their own pair of safety glasses for when they're around the machinery. It's nice that they take an interest.

Oh, yeah....numbers 3 and 4 were penciled in on the original batch list but got scratched a while back because I wanted to get these to heat treat sooner. They would have been Two Finger Wharnies, but there will be time to make more:thumbup:

Great selection Jon.
I am loving number 2:)

Take the handle off #1 and combine it with the blade shape of #11 and you will really have a winner, IMO. All are cool now, though. ;)

Danbo, if I did that......it would exactly like one of YOUR knives, only with handles:D

This batch just got back from Peters today, so it's gonna be crunch time for a few weeks!:D
