A while back I started a thread asking about making a sword, this is my first attempt. I'm trying for my own spin on a traditional wakizashi.
I cut the profile over the last couple of days and today I started grinding. It is very rough right now, I had to take a break.
This was 18" of .262 5160 Steel stock for a size reference.
Comments are welcome and appreciated.
