I have eight blades in the works and today I got three hand sanded and etched. The big one is w2 1/4 thick with a 5in blade. The small ones are 8670 saw steel. And 2 file knives.

Like the hamons, nice. Have not seen much in 8670, what do you think? For toughness it should be amazing, interested in edge retention.

Very hard. My next batch i will temper three times at 400.
