Wire Clip Issue

Hi guys, first thread of mine here, and a quick question. Just got a G10 UKPK and noticed the wire clip had some slight side to side movement:grumpy:. Took the screw out to discover that the tow ends of the clip that rest within the handle scale are uneven, causing it not to be 100% solid. I have a Sage 1 & 2, both with wire clips also, and they are perfectly tight so I was surprised to find this. If anyone could give me some advice, that would be great! Thanks a lot;
