Wire clip on salt

So I'm looking at my two of my favorite spyders (a cf caly 3, and a salt1). I prefer a wire clip but I'm seeing some similarities on how the clip is attached, which got me thinking... Is there a aftermarket to wire clip available for the salt series/ old school delica enduras?

If only they offered you a choice of clips...

No wire clip that I've seen. You don't like the Titanium clip on the Salt? I find it holds the knife in the pocket much better than the wire clip.

I don't see the barrel bolt area of the handle offering enough depth to hold a wire clip as is. I suppose you could cut grooves in the FRN like there would be on a wire clip knife but then you need the screw to go lower than the outer surface of the handle in order to hold against the clip. That would seem to require modification to the barrel bolt or a different bolt altogether.

Choice of clips would be nice but that would mean making a whole new mold for a wire clip on the Salt/Delica handle and I imagine the expense would be prohibitive when compared against demand. Wire clip also removes the option for tip down carry and excludes folks who carry that way.

There's no tip down carry option on the knives in question - Delica/Endura 3's and Salts - so that's kind of irrelevant. The Native 3 has a wire clip with a similar clip bolt to those, but I'm not sure if the barrel diameter is exactly the same. You'd need to cut some wire grooves in the frn, too.

The Ti clip is among the best clips available and one of the many things that make the Salt I such a great folder.
