...are cool.

I wish more knives were offered with them, including my Para-Mil.

Does anyone know if other non-wire clip Spyderco knives will accept the wire clip as I assume they can be ordered?

Some knives with wire clips: Caly 3, UK PenKnife, Assist 1, Kopa models, P'Kal, Poliwog, Sage,

I dont think there are any spydercos that you can just switch from a std. clip to a wire clip. If you have access to a mill or a machine shop you could mill slots for a wire clip and than put in a bolt to hold the clip in place.

Also I dont think the Kopa clip is considered a wire clip, and to add to the list Dodo, Meerkat, Salsa, Native III

I love the wire clips! they keep a low profile, they are smooth and are less likely than regular clips to cause little damage to wall or car paint. I would like to see more Wire clips made but I think there is an equal demand for both types of clips. I don't believe there is a way to make a wire clip work on a regular clip Spydie without heavy modification.

As a side note I really think the 'hour glass' clips in the newer gen spydercos (eg. Delica 4) are a big improvement.

My favorite clip is on the Military. Big and curved.

The models Spyderco chooses to put the wire clip on are all good choices though.

Don't forget the D'Allara.

The wire clip is my favorite of all, followed closely by the Mcusta Tactility. I like a clip that reminds people of the clip on a high-end ink pen and not a knife.

I've never had a wire clip untill recent Caly 3 purchases, and I like them much more than I though I would have. Slides in shorts very easy compared to any other clip style I have, and looks great as well.

Has anybody ever tried to put a wire style clip, (either low rider or normal) onto a barrel bolt style, like on the Pacific or Atlanic Salts?

I have a Caly3 coming in a couple days so I`ll try it, but just wondering if it can be done?

Caly 3 already has a wire clip. Its clip would be too narrow
to use on one of the Salts. IIRC, at least one persons successfully modified a model with a barrel bolt clip like that on the Salt to use the wire clip from a Native III, or D'Allara. Again, IIRC, it involved cutting two channels into the handle for the wire to ride in. But, unless you bend a clip yourself out of titanium wire, you'd no longer have a rustproof knife.
