Title says it all.... : )

Which is the best wire saw?

Why is it the best wire saw?

Where do you purchase this best wire saw?

Thanks,
Marion David Poff

I bought the pocket chainsaw mentioned on the above link. Paid about $14.00 for it wholesale. I picked it because of the handle options, and my dissapointment in the wrapped wire saws. Haven't had a chance to put it to work yet.

Stores small and reasonably light.

I got mine through an outdoors equipment distributor as a friend works there. Not an option for everyone.

The pocket chainsaw ROCKS!!! I've had one for several years now and have cut a lot of wood with it to include my Christmas trees for the last 5 or 6 years.
Ditch the wooden handles...I just put a loop of Para Cord thru the split rings and wear them around my wrists. The cord and splint rings fit in the storage tin and makes a very compact package. ( Hence the ditching of the wooden handles.)
Just spray it with a rust prevenitive before storage and it will last a long time.
The wire saws (and I've tried all the ones I could find.) are far more compact but, they break very easy.
Good Luck
