Wireless-Broadband coming this week

I can not believe, but yes it is happening. We will have wireless by the end of next week. We've been on dial up for 10 years.
I live in one of the most remote sections of s/e Ohio. The only reason this is happening is through the efforts of some very proactive folks that live in this area. They did not take no for an answer. My hat is off to the little town of Chesterhill, Ohio

My computer froze up and is in the shop getting some attention. I am adding 250gig of external harddrive and a new operating system.
I will be back up and running by the end of next week.
 
good for you Fred. Broadband is so more better than dialup.....it may be a "luxury" but it is real easy to get used to....
IG, Don't you miss anything???? By the way I don't understand that ridiculousness your youngester who helps out is into. I always thought that if it hurts you, better be grinding a blade that is worth the pain, whether it is hot steel or sharp steel....
P.S. Fred, don't go there, you won't believe the SPAM/Sh#t you will get if you make a mistake to even go to something that is questionable even once....and yes, some spammers disguise crap as something not so reprehensible.....

Thanks for the heads up, John. Ig is about as
pornographic as I can handle.
I understand that half of the US is still on dial-up, where as the EU is just about all wireless.

You will love the speed, soon you will realize what you were missing all these years. Then you will be wondering if it could be faster.
