I am replacing the small motor on my air conditioner blower. I have a black wire/white wire running to it. On the new motor it says hook the black wire to 4 on the line which goes to 5. That I've done, but that leaves the white wire, but the instructions call for a red wire and it's red inside the motor. So anyway is this hooked up right, the white goes from 1 to 2 as it says, but the wire it connects to is red inside. I'm afraid to try it, anyone here know?

I went ahead and installed it and it works. I kept looking online and found out the worst that would happen, if it was reversed was it would run the opposite way, but it ran the right way and it's working now. I also read black went to brass and white to silver. I was just worried it could burn up, if it wasn't right!
