Wish list 300 series.....

The stock 420hc is fine with me. Saw cut yellow delrin is what I would like to see.;)

I've talked to the BCCI leadership about a 154cm Wrangler. I'm surprised with the pretty steady comments for premium bladed 300 series that it hasn't happened.

Well maybe one day.
Wish Number One:
Wrangler 307, 154cm/ATS-34, sawcut black delrin That's it. If they did a trapper, stockman, and muscrat I'd buy the entire series. Let's hope.

We have not been successful (as of yet) in persuading Buck to do anything in the 300 series with an upgraded steel. They were working on a special project canoe pattern with s30v steel as a special project with AG Russell and had some difficulties in getting the backsprings hard enough to hold up to the tougher steel blade while still providing sufficient "give" as a backspring. Now that this project has been built (or partially built), we may have more success. On the otherhand, after that project, they may not want to mess with it again!! We have not forgotten this idea and we will address it again in the future. I personally have a deep affection for the 300 series knives and would delight in getting them produced with upgraded materials including the steel.

300 series? 300 series? What is a 300 series anyway ?

Upgrade steel is that something like pig iron...
 
I'm not real big on the 300's but if they made the Wrangler again and with nice wood handles, I'd jump on that in a heartbeat.
 
Santa Buck, I've been a very good boy.

I want a Buck-made 307 in 420HC and a 301 in 154CM.

And I would LOVE a US-made trapper in 420HC.
