I just bought another Commander, this one's a plain edge black blade. A very nice knife, I can't fault it - the lock up is great.
Something I'd like to see from Emerson is a chisel ground Commander, ala the ES1M, even better than that how about a production version of the ES1M? These would sell like hot cakes I'd suggest.
What do you guys think?

Me too would like a production ESM-1, and a CQC-8 (waved) and a CQC-9 and... list do get kinda long....

Of the production knives avalable now i'd LOVE to see a sharp pointed SARK, NICE combination

Or to be more realistic, a production or even a semi production CQC-8 would be fine with me!

My wish list for Emerson:
1. Waved CQC7 a regular production item. Black G-10, Green-T blade, blue anodized and jeweled liners..........

3. A concealment style sheath for the PUK.
4. A 5" to 6" fixed blade knife [SpecWar?].

5. How about an "ASK", or Airline Survival Knife, a CQC7A or B with a 2.8 to 3" plain blade knife for airline travel. I hate having to leave my Emerson's at home when I travel.

The ASK is a great idea. A mini CQC-5 or CQC-7! Sign me up! Plain 2.5" blade, Black G-10 handle. Warren Thomas is making me an all Ti with 2.5" blade for this very reason.

Great idea. An under three inch bladed CQC7A/B would also be great for those poor folks that can't carry a larger knife due to restrictive laws.

I'll give a big SECOND to the ES1M and the CQC-9 Eagle.

In fact, I just wish he would come back with the Customs so I could order an ES1M. One of those things I always put off, "They might get a little more expensive, but they'll be there..." Damn.

Also, a Chrom-Ni LaGriffe.

The Waved CQC-7 and SOCFK to become regular items and a Production CQC-9. All sound great to me.

If we make up the "The Usual Suspects" around here, is John "Kaiser Soze?"

One more wish I thought of over the weekend:
6. Blades available in tool steels like A-2, D-2, or M-2. Most of their blades are coated anyway.

Bolstered '7 or Mini '7 plain edge true satin finish with CF or Micarta scales. Ooooh Yeah!

Plain edged blades readily available (i.e. thru dealers vs. extortionate "full retail" pricing) on ALL models would be nice.

Hard Chrome or satin-finish Griffe.

A real fixed blade knife. Plain edge please.

If none of the above, then a decent production '5 or '6 will do thanks.

Satin Commanders with thicker scales and Ti liners.

Oh..yes I forgot....I wish the C/P shop would open up soon ....I wish that they do not get too swamped that the C/P orders take longer than 4 weeks to ship out

A waved CQC6/7 with redesigned handle (compact yet secure like I&I Tanto, just smaller) for defense and a waved mini-Mach I for utility.
 
Now that you Commander fans are gonna be getting what you want, I vote for a 3" Mach1. For politically correct carry, besides I think it's just a better utility knife than the commander.
Now, if a mini Mach 1 were available from the custom shop--Ti bolsters, bead blast finish,micarta or dymondwood scales--heaven.
