There’s a little town in AR (Arkansas, not Arizona) called Mountain View, where blacksmithing and bladesmithing classes have been offered for what seems like forever. Unfortunately, for the past 20+ years, I lived about 2 hours away. I just could never seem to get $ and time to coalesce in a way that would allow me to go take one.…until now. I now live about an hour away, and just signed myself up for:

Intro To Bladesmithing Workshop — Arkansas Craft School

Students will learn the basics of forging and from a piece of steel, create a beautiful and useful knife that can be passed down to the next generation. In this 1-day class, Instructor David will teach beginners to intermediate levels.

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. There are several free ones.
If you use imgur,
create a free account
Click <NEW POST>
Follow the directions to upload
Then go to the top right and mouse over your user name. That gives you a drop down.
Select "Images"
That will show all your images. Click the image you want to post, then to the right, copy the supplied BB code.
Then paste that directly into your post.

If you use another hosting site:
Once you have uploaded a picture to the hosting site, copy the web address of the picture. Note: picture web addresses must end in .jpg or .gif

Then go to your post and click the image tool on the toolbar next to the smiley tool. Click the link icon in the popup. (Looks like a chain.) Paste the picture address into the window. Then click the INSERT button.

If using Imgur, There is a list of codes to the right of your photo. Pick "BB code" and click the COPY button. Then just paste it directly into your post.
