Well the wife thinks that I should go to the Bill Moran school of bladesmithing (she is very suportive of my hobby) and there is an opening at the end of march. I should find out if I can get the time off on thursday ,It's tough because I'm a foreman on the job but I think that it may work out!!!!!This would be great if it happens!!!

Great Heavens!!

Now that...is an opportunity seized.

Enjoy and make the very most of it, lucky man.

Oh, and let us know how it went when you return.

[Now that's a supportive spouse.]

Good luck Louis! I hope it works out and you have a great time down there! It's the right time of year to go, I assure you. Ask the school contact about renting the "bunk house" just down the road from the school. It's within walking distance and can save you a bunch of money on a hotel stay. -Matt-

cool wife-----a real keeper for sure in a perfect world they would all think that sound minded! and maybe own a bass boat and guns hhaha bb

Thanks guys, more news, the wife just took a pregnancy test and she passed!! She says that I can still go to the school though!!

Dang...You are having a run of good luck! But, I was wondering...does she passed mean that she "is" pregnant, or that she "isn't" pregnant? (just kidding)

Congrats!

Congrats on both. Talk about perfec timing!!!!!! You will be gone for 2 weeks just about the time the "nasty weepy hormonal phase" kicks in :D j/k. Wish I could join you, but i may have to wait until the fall.

Coooool!!! On both counts.  This means that you will be doing some demo's at the up coming HI's here.

Good luck with the training and congratulations on the new little one.

I am currently enrolled in Schardknocks because it's close to where I live. :)

Awesome! This is still on my list along with:
Hiking the AT
Visiting Denali state park in alaska
Spending a night in a bivvy sack on Mt Washington.

Which is most likely to occur with my current woman? Thats a different question....

WOW! Fanstastic on both counts.
Good luck on both as well. Hope all is well ALL the way over in Windham!
